Chromatic Blue Dragon Redesign - Rescale Miniatures - Bastion of Purity Vol II

the Blue Dragon is one of the five classic chromatic dragons and is aligned with evil, specifically lawful evil. Introduced in early editions of Dungeons & Dragons, blue dragons are known for their cold intelligence, pride, and love of manipulation. They are calculating tyrants who prefer strategy and psychological warfare over brute force—though they are more than capable of overwhelming strength when needed.

Blue dragons typically inhabit vast deserts and arid badlands, where their sandy, sapphire-scaled bodies blend naturally with the landscape. They often burrow beneath the dunes or lair within ancient ruins, hoarding treasure and enslaving creatures to serve them. Their most iconic ability is their lightning breath weapon—a devastating line of crackling electricity that can strike enemies from a great distance with pinpoint accuracy.

Physically, blue dragons are sleek and regal, with large, curved horns sweeping back from their heads and frilled ears that resemble fins. As they age—from wyrmling to ancient—their power, cunning, and magical abilities increase dramatically. Ancient blue dragons are master schemers, ruling desert territories like emperors and weaving long-term plots that can span decades.

Feared for both their intellect and their lightning fury, blue dragons embody dominance, order, and ruthless ambition in the world of D&D.

This model was sculpted by the masters at Rescale Miniatures and is part of the Bastion of Purity Vol II campaign.  

The boss comes in 3 different sizes

75mm Base (Huge - Adult): The standard "Adult Dragon" size for D&D 5e.

100mm Base (Gargantuan - Ancient): Represents an "Ancient" Silver Dragon, dominating the battlefield.

130mm Base (Colossal - Great Wyrm): A terrifying, table-covering deity of frost and justice.

For our resin prints we use the best high quality mix for our models.  This model will come in pieces with the supports removed as best we could.  Some minor clean up might be needed for the model as you are putting your masterpiece together.  Please Note that all our models come unpainted even if the picture shows the item painted.
